Focused Sectionals

Preparation of the orchestra work usually begins with respective strings, followed by winds and percussion sections. It requires each section to work in harmony and unison for an orchestra to sound like one. As a participant of GYO, you will be able to experience interacting with passionate musicians from the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, BBC symphony, or Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. Building a strong foundation through sectionals will eventually benefit orchestras by eliciting musicality into the repertoire with a strong ensemble working together.
